Eisner Partner Jeremiah Reynolds Named to The Hollywood Reporter’s 2019 Power Lawyers List
March 28, 2019
Eisner is proud to announce that partner Jeremiah Reynolds has been selected for The Hollywood Reporter’s 2019 Power Lawyers award. Published annually, this report highlights 100 attorneys who are impacting Hollywood by negotiating mega-deals and handling significant litigation. This is the first year that Reynolds has been named to this list.
An attorney with nearly two decades of experience, Reynolds has represented high-profile clients across the music, film, television, and sports industries in matters involving distribution rights, merchandising and licensing rights, profit participation and other accounting issues, contractual disputes, and intellectual property disputes.
In his Power Lawyers profile, The Hollywood Reporter editors highlighted Reynolds’ major victory on behalf of Voltage Pictures in high-profile litigation with Mel Gibson’s Icon Productions over rights to “The Professor and the Madman,” an adaptation of the best-selling history of the Oxford English Dictionary that stars both Gibson and Sean Penn, as well as a confidential settlement that he secured on behalf of Richard Gere, who was involved in a dispute with his former producing partner over an adaptation of “Bones of the Master.”
Each year, The Hollywood Reporter conducts extensive research to identify the most influential attorneys in the areas of corporate dealmaking, litigation, talent dealmaking, technology/convergence, and music, while also considering each attorney’s reputation within the entertainment legal community.
