Eisner, LLP Expands New York Office With Addition of Litigator Carolynn Beck

Eisner, LLP announced today that seasoned litigator Carolynn Beck has joined the firm as a partner in New York. Beck maintains a national practice focused on commercial litigation, employment litigation and employment counseling.

“Carolynn will make a dynamic addition to our New York office, further extending our bench of talent in litigation and employment matters,” said Michael Eisner, chair of Eisner, LLP.

Beck litigates cases on behalf of companies in a wide variety of industries including technology and life sciences, many of them located in New York and California. She derives particular satisfaction from counseling women- and minority-led businesses. Among other recent litigation successes, she represented a female reproductive health company in a breach of contract and tortious interference action against a household-name genetic testing company, which settled confidentially before trial.

“Eisner offers an ideal platform from which to service my client base and expand my practice further in both New York and California,” said Beck. “I have known Michael and his firm for years, and closely watched its successful expansion. I’m excited to contribute to the firm and its clients however I can in our many complementary areas of experience.”

Beck comes to Eisner from a nationally respected boutique with offices throughout the East Coast and Midwest. She began her career at a Southern California litigation firm and maintains strong professional ties in the state. She is active in the leadership of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA), the voice of more than 60,000 members of the Asian Pacific American legal community, and served a term on the NAPABA Board of Governors. The spouse of a Navy SEAL, Beck currently co-chairs the NAPABA Military & Veteran’s Network. In that capacity, she spearheaded a resolution supporting federal and state legislation to ease bar waiver rules for military spouses. (Beck herself is admitted to practice in New York, California, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.).

A leader in her community, Beck also serves as a chair of the solo & small firm committee for the Asian American Bar Association of New York, and on the Legislative and Judicial Initiatives committee for the New York State Bar Association.
