Chord Music Partners has acquired a minority stake in country music star Morgan Wallen’s master recording catalog from record label Big Loud. This high-profile investment expands Chord’s portfolio, which includes music from The Weeknd, Ryan Tedder, and John Legend, among others. The transaction will also help expand Big Loud’s global footprint and further its long-term commitment to artist development.
The Eisner, LLP team advising Chord on the transaction included Partners Michael Eisner, Wes Morrow, and Jordan Gutglass, Senior Counsel Holden Sumner, and Associates Michael Barkoff and Arianna Goolsby.
