Accomplished trial lawyer and entertainment litigator join as a team from Frankfurt Kurnit, bringing deep bench strength to Eisner’s growing Los Angeles office
Los Angeles, CA – June 29, 2026 – Eisner, LLP announced today that Tricia L. Legittino has joined the Firm as a Partner and Nicholas M. Medellin has joined as an Associate. The pair arrives together from Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz PC and will practice in Eisner’s Litigation Group in the Beverly Hills office.
“Tricia and Nicholas’ arrival reflects exactly the kind of purposeful growth that we’ve been focused on at Eisner,” said Michael Eisner, Chair of Eisner, LLP. “Tricia brings decades of trial experience in courtrooms across the country, from criminal prosecutions to complex commercial and employment disputes. Nicholas has spent time on both sides of the entertainment business, both in the room where deals get made and in court when disputes follow.”
Legittino is a proven trial attorney with more than 20 years of experience trying cases in federal and state courts as well as in alternative dispute resolution forums. Before private practice, she served as an Assistant Illinois Attorney General prosecuting jury and bench trials in tax evasion, theft, fraud, and other criminal matters, and rose to Deputy Bureau Chief of the Sexually Violent Persons Bureau — the youngest person ever to hold that position. Those prosecutorial instincts have shaped a litigation practice that spans securities, commercial lending and real estate, employment, and entertainment-industry disputes.
“Eisner has built a remarkable reputation in the entertainment and business communities, and the firm’s growth over the past few years has been extremely impressive,” said Legittino. “My practice is centered on helping clients navigate their most consequential disputes with both my legal experience and compassion for the emotional toll litigation has on every litigant. Eisner’s practical, client-first approach is a natural fit for my practice, and Nicholas and I are excited to be joining at such a pivotal moment in the firm’s growth.”
Legittino regularly defends employers in federal and state court and counsels businesses on hiring and termination, employee classification, handbook policies, and broader compliance matters. In commercial lending and real estate, she represents national, international, and community banks, private lenders, and title companies and private owners in connection with claims such as negligence, quiet title, and breach of contract. Legittino earned her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School and her B.A. from Dominican University.
Medellin, who has worked alongside Legittino at Frankfurt Kurnit, focuses his practice on entertainment, employment, and intellectual property litigation. Earlier in his career, he worked in business and legal affairs at a major studio and on the creative side of television production — experience that gives him an inside understanding of how entertainment companies operate. He earned his J.D. from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings), and his B.A. from California State University, Northridge.
The addition of Legittino and Medellin brings senior litigation depth and employment counseling capabilities that strengthen the Firm’s expanding entertainment and business platform. Their arrival continues a period of significant growth for Eisner’s Beverly Hills office, including the recent addition of corporate entertainment lawyers Nicholas Jacobus and Samuel Djahanbani from Venable LLP.
