Leslie Corwin and Simon Miller Named to the New York Law Journal’s Inaugural List of New York Trailblazers
May 20, 2019
Eisner is proud to announce that Leslie Corwin and Simon Miller have been selected for the New York Law Journal’s inaugural list of New York Trailblazers. This award honors professionals in New York who have moved the needle in the legal industry by acting as agents of change in any aspect of the practice or business of law. Corwin and Miller are two of only 51 individuals recognized. Their profile can be viewed here.
In what was recognized by The American Lawyer as one of the 25 biggest lateral moves of 2018, Corwin and Miller spearheaded the launch of Eisner’s New York office and expanded the firm’s litigation capabilities on the East Coast.
Corwin and Miller are renowned for litigating disputes surrounding the breakup of partnerships and other businesses, and have represented a wide array of financial services providers, professional services firms, and real estate developers. Together, they have handled more ownership disputes involving law, accounting, and investment banking firms than any other attorneys; most notably, their engagements include the high-profile dissolutions of WolfBlock, Heller Ehrman, and Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault. Corwin’s 1998 book, Law Firm Partnership Agreements (published by ALM), remains the definitive treatise on the subject.
Corwin serves as managing partner of Eisner’s New York office, where Miller serves as a partner. Prior to joining Eisner, Corwin and Miller practiced together at Blank Rome.
