Jorge L. Sanchez serves as entertainment and production counsel to a wide range of clients in the entertainment industry. He has substantial experience advising on feature films, documentary, and other scripted and unscripted projects, supporting clients on complex production issues, including rights acquisitions, licensing agreements, and distribution compliance. His practice also covers a range of essential agreements, such as copyright and intellectual property protections, synchronization licensing agreements, and access and participation agreements, ensuring his clients’ work is protected and properly credited across various platforms.

Jorge frequently collaborates with Eisner’s Music attorneys on music-related matters for film and television, negotiating composer agreements, and securing clearances and releases for Grammy-winning musicians and other prominent talent. Following an early passion for the film industry, Jorge earned an undergraduate degree in Film and Communications from the University of Hartford and a certificate in Cinematography and Film Production from the New York Film Academy. During this time, he worked as a segment producer for local television programming and created multiple short films as a writer, director, and editor. This hands-on experience in production gives him a unique, practical perspective on the creative and operational challenges his clients face, informing his dedicated approach to entertainment law.
